The Dallas Black Dance Theatre Encore is back by popular demand! DBDT: Encore! is set to return to The Ector Theatre with a special FREE performance on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 7:00 PM. This thrilling event, proudly hosted by Odessa Arts and the Black Cultural Council of Odessa, is part of Odessa’s Juneteenth celebrations.
DBDT: Encore! promises a dynamic production featuring everything from quirky modern interpretations in “Slump” to captivating ethnic storytelling in “Endless Journey.” Join us for a journey that will ignite your imagination, stir your emotions, and leave you with a heart full of warmth.
With a rich history of inspiring audiences, DBDT has performed worldwide for over 4.6 million arts patrons and 2.8 million students in 33 states and 16 countries on five continents, including Odessa. Their commitment to artistic excellence and cultural diversity continues to resonate with audiences everywhere.
